Dermaplane procedures are typically completed on an outpatient basis in one of our offices. Once your skin is cleansed, the dermaplaning will begin with a careful skimming of the surface of the face with a blade. The aesthetician will make several passes over different parts of the skin until the face has been evenly treated. The amount of time needed will vary, depending on whether a section or the entire face is being addressed.
Following your dermaplaning treatment, your skin will feel very soft. You can expect results quickly since dermaplaning reveals smoother, softer skin right away.
